Transport Research Arena - a big name in the field of mobility and innovation! And not just that: more than 3000 participants meet every two years to discuss the latest developments in the field of transport and mobility. Representatives from the public sector can be found as well as those from business, research and international organisations.
This year the TRA has the motto "Rethinking transport - towards clean and inclusive mobility". Rethinking - a term that accompanies us in our daily work. Not only in the context of international projects such as LinkingAlps or SHOW, which deal with clean mobility and its demonstration in society, but also in the course of our national work: decarbonisation, climate neutrality and the ways to achieve them are our daily concerns. AustriaTech pays special attention to the regions and their integration and consideration in the development of new mobility concepts. Mobility as a Service, for example, plays a major role in this context. Naturally, this is also related to the needs of the citizens, which are always resonating in the context of MELINDA or the support of the Urban Mobility Labs. We want to take all this with us to Helsinki and aim for a knowledge-enhancing exchange.
