The ITS European Congress will take place in Toulouse from 30 May to 1 June 2022. In addition to various inputs, AustriaTech will also be represented this year with a wide range of project activities.
The annual ITS congresses serve as a showcase for new mobility trends and services and bring together experts from all over the world. With this year's motto "Smart and Sustainable Mobility for all", the organisers are in tune with the spirit of the time. Climate protection is one of the most urgent topics of our time and flows into all our efforts and activities.
Divided into the five key topics "services for citizens", "next generation solutions", "green and sustainable mobility", "from large-scale trials to deployment" and "cities as logistics hubs", intelligent and sustainable mobility will be discussed and demonstrated in numerous sessions, an international exhibition and various demonstrations.
"Managing the digital transformation of mobility well and sustainably is one of the most important challenges to which AustriaTech is making its contribution. The ITS European Congress offers an opportunity to sharpen the Austrian perspective and to contribute it to the European discussion. In addition, the congress also serves to promote networking and the presentation of national competences in an international environment," explains Martin Böhm, Technical Director at AustriaTech. Current topics such as networked and automated mobility, the possibilities of harmonised data exchange or access restrictions in cities for more sustainable mobility systems can be discussed by the participants both in regular sessions and in project activities.
