This year's ITS European Congress will take place in Lisbon from 22 to 24 May 2023 under the motto "ITS: The Game Changer". Experts, decision-makers and companies from all over the world will come together to discuss ideas and innovations in the field of intelligent mobility.
Lisbon is known for its architecture and culinary specialities. From 22 to 24 May 2023, the ITS European Congress will transform Portugal's capital into a centre of mobility innovation. Every year, the congress provides a platform for participants from a wide range of fields such as transport technology, the automotive industry, public transport, politics and research to exchange knowledge and best practices in order to promote sustainable and efficient mobility.
AustriaTech is represented again this year with presentations on the topics of C-ITS, Mobility as a Service, mobility data and automated driving. NAPCORE is taking the next steps at the ITS European Congress by signing cooperation agreements with C-Roads and the European Parking Association (EPA). In NAPCORE, more than 30 mobility data platforms across Europe are coordinated and harmonised. The cooperation with the C-Roads platform will promote the desired interoperability between different actors and between data and services for the benefit of the European traveller. Processes and procedures are being worked on together to maximise the benefits of linking NAPs and C-ITS. The cooperation agreement with EPA aims to promote joint work on the adaptation and interoperability of standards (DATEX II, APDS, NeTEx). It also aims to ensure that parking data can be made available in the NAPs of EPA member associations and commercial associate members.
