Linking cities to transnational transport corridors via their railway junctions
The RAIL4SEE project aims to link cities to transnational transport corridors via their railway nodes. In order to reach this goal, technological, organisational and administrative measures will be taken to optimise the multimodal flow in railway junctions. AustriaTech is focusing its project on linking the regions through travel information and booking services. By analysing and listing best practice examples, railway junctions can be further optimized. Another significant contribution to connection mobility - especially for the first and last mile - is made by the specially programmed app.
