Analysis of the effects of automation on the transport labour force, future working conditions and skills requirements
The WE-TRANSFORM project is aimed at identifying the effects of automation on the transport labour force, future working conditions and skill requirements along specific use-cases and solution scenarios. Through the implementation of cross-national living hubs (Europe, Japan, Canada, USA, and Korea) in which representatives of all relevant stakeholder groups such as logistics, research organizations, unions or other communities of interest are involved, a transnational Collective Intelligence (CI) will be built. The Consortium’s expertise is enhanced by Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning that support the collection and analysis of existing literature, studies, reports, projects and data.
Using CI, the collected and analysed knowledge will be utilized for identifying the effects of automation on the transport labour force and its resulting challenges as well as proposing an evidence-based and action-oriented agenda.
