CROCODILE 3 Technical Workshop: Registration now open

Oct 11, 2021

On November 4, 2021, the CROCODILE 3 project invites to an online workshop on "National access points and the implementation of multimodal travel information services". Participation is free of charge.

The CROCODILE corridor unites authorities, road administrations and operators of traffic information services from seven European Member States (AT, CY, CZ, HR, HU, IT, SI). Within the CROCODILE project, cross-border exchange of mobility data as well as a harmonised implementation of the same will be promoted. To support the exchange between project partners and other interested parties, CROCODILE organizes technical workshops with the aim to show the progress of cross-border coordination in Europe together with the European legislation (ITS Directive and supplementing delegated regulations).

The current workshop will focus on the combination of transport modes, as it is essential to create sustainable mobility systems. The availability and accessibility of multimodal data through the National Access Points (NAPs) is key for multimodal services. CROCODILE partners, as well as other countries, have focused on mode interfaces in recent years and will present best practice solutions on this in this workshop.

What to expect:

  • Information on the strategic alignment and status of the implementation of the Delegated Regulation for Multimodal Travel Information Services within Europe
  • Best practices on the implementation of Multimodal Travel Information Services within different European countries and resulting experiences
  • Learn more about the future perspective of the harmonisation of NAPs and NBs within the NAPCORE project
