The main tasks of ITS Austria include the monitoring of Austrian ITS activities and the development of ITS measures as input for the further development of the Austrian mobility system.
As a strategic advisory body, ITS Austria implements measures for the digitalisation of the mobility system in the national and European environment and participates in the preparation of national ITS strategies and programmes. ITS Austria designs the framework for Austria-wide cooperation for ITS activities. In order to improve the communication of ITS topics to the public, communication measures and strategies are jointly discussed and planned.
